Andrew Reading to Serve as a Judge at the 2022 New York Business Plan Competition

March 30, 2022 – BUFFALO, NY—Dopkins & Company, LLP, a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm, announces that Andrew J. Reading, CPA will serve as a judge for the 2022 New York Business Plan Competition (NYBPC).  Presented by the Upstate Capital Association of New York, the NYBPC is a venture creation & innovation competition that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship throughout New York’s colleges and universities.  Mr. Reading will be part of the judging committee for the statewide semifinal competition of candidate teams on Wednesday, April 20th.  For more information, visit https://nybpc.org/.

A Partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services Group, Mr. Reading serves as a strategic advisor to firm clients on topics including mergers, acquisitions, business sales, capitalization structure, governance, financial reporting, risk management and internal controls.  He is a leader of the Firm’s Risk Advisory Services Team, and oversees the design, execution, and implementation of client risk assessment and audit plans.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
