Prior Experience
Sawyer gained a significant amount of professional services experience prior to joining Dopkins. He completed an extended internship at a leading business and corporate law firm located in downtown Buffalo, NY. While there he performed a variety of duties for the firm’s Accounts Receivable department.
Community Service
While attending college, Sawyer served as a volunteer tax preparer for low income and elderly taxpayers. He leveraged his tax knowledge as he advised clients and communicated with them regarding filing rules, guidelines and strategies. He also routinely trained new volunteers on utilizing tax software to ensure the volunteer program would continue for at-need communities for years to come.
