BUFFALO, NY—Dopkins & Company, LLP, a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm, announces that Gerard “Jerry” Mazurkiewicz will be honored with the Service Award from Leadership Buffalo. The award will be presented at Leadership Buffalo’s Annual Values luncheon, scheduled for Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:30 PM at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. A Partner in the Firm’s Tax Advisory Group, Mr. Mazurkiewicz provides income and estate tax planning services to high net worth clients. He also provides tax and consulting services to closely held companies, where he provides business and succession planning services.
A life-long resident of Western New York, Mr. Mazurkiewicz remains steadfast in his dedication to help grow the region through volunteerism and community involvement. His service includes roles on the board of directors for a variety of organizations including the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, the UB Foundation, Kaleida Health Foundation, D’Youville College and the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. Jerry served as the 2017 co-chairs the Catholic Charities of Buffalo annual appeal with his wife, Barbara.
