William Prohn to Present at Cybersecurity 2.0 Seminar

Presenting on Cybersecurity Best Practices at Buffalo Niagara Partnership Event

BUFFALO, NY—Dopkins & Company, LLP announces that William Prohn, Managing Director of Dopkins System Consultants, will serve as a panelist at Cybersecurity 2.0, a program presented by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership (BNP) on Wednesday, March 15th.  The second in the Partnership’s two-part cybersecurity seminar series, Mr. Prohn will present on best practices for starting a cybersecurity program, including risk analysis as well as review of existing controls and GAP analysis, and remediation.  Co-sponsored by Dopkins & Company, LLP, Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP and Whiteboard IT Solutions, the event will take place at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, 257 West Genesee Street, Buffalo, NY 14202 from 8:00 – 10:00 AM. Mr. Prohn serves as the Managing Director of Dopkins System Consultants as well as Director of Information Technology for Dopkins & Company, LLP. He recently testified before the New York State Assembly Standing Committee regarding Cybersecurity issues impacting business. This hearing sought to explore the cybersecurity needs of banking institutions as well as to review State laws and regulations designed to protect against cyber threats.
