Freezing for a Reason: Dopkins Team to Participate in the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics 12.7.19

December 7, 2019 – Members of our “Frozen Assets” team will return to Woodlawn Beach State Park to participate in the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics New York.  Our thanks to Bob Bauer from our tax department for serving as a member of the Polar Plunge’s Planning Committee.

About the 2019 Buffalo Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is one of the longest-running and most fun fundraising events Special Olympics New York has to offer. The event is simple: Thousands of volunteers from all over New York State jump into freezing cold water. It’s an exciting teambuilding activity, a perfect photo opp, and a great reason to wear a costume. But it’s also about more than that! As the saying goes, these volunteers are freezin’ for a reason.

All money raised helps Special Olympics New York provide year-round sports training and competition, health and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.  It’s a great cause and a great time!
