Dopkins & Company’s Tax Advisory Group is seeking a Manager to support our growing International Tax practice.
As a Tax Manager you will have the opportunity to focus on managing multiple client engagements. You will be responsible for direct client contact, scheduling and supervising work done by staff, and detail review of client work to meet our high quality standards. You will help to mentor staff and transfer knowledge with in our team. Since Dopkins employees strive to provide thorough customer service to all our clients, you will be charged with recognizing opportunities to increase the level and types of Dopkins services your clients would find beneficial. Professionals in our tax practice typically provide both tax compliance and consulting services to their client base.
This position is open to both local and remote talent.
- General knowledge of recent changes in international reporting including 965 reporting, GILTI, FDDII, 962 elections, Form 5471, and foreign tax credit calculations.
- Strong general tax experience including working with individuals and various types of business entities.
- Able to develop, grow and maintain strong client relationships
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience working on inbound and outbound issues for individuals and businesses with emphasis on U.S. Canada cross border clients.
