At a glance
Joe has worked in public accounting since 1969 and for most of that time has concentrated in local business accounting and tax consulting. He is a pioneer for recognizing the unique needs of health care providers in terms of practice management and tax services, having spent much of his career working with them on internal controls, accounting systems, personnel evaluation, retirement planning, billing and collection, cash flow problems, compensation structuring, and mergers & acquisitions. To better serve that sector, he helped form an interdisciplinary group within the Firm called Dopkins Medical Practice Group and Dopkins Medical Solutions, LLC - a complete medical billing service.

Joe began his public accounting career with a national firm and then established and developed his own firm for fifteen years until it merged with Dopkins in 1987.
